I hate sun. Everyone else who went to the car show today either got a tan, or sunburn. Not me. I get sunstroke. I love my best friend to pieces, and right now, literally. She always forgets that I need to sit in the shade every once in a while, being a redhead and all. What does she do today while at the zoo? Ignores me because she wants to go see camels. So, when I got to my other friend's house, where I was going to do homework, I ended up stealing the playroom couch, A.K.A my bedroom on weekends, and sleeping from about three-ish, to almost seven at night. And freezing to death at the same time. >< I hate sun.

Thanks, Rowena.
You're totally right about the word gay meaning stupid to a lot of people. Personally, I think that the way gays have less rights than anyone else can be compared to when African Americans were trying to get equal rights. Everyone knows that they have fewer rights but no one wants to say anything, everyone thinks that they actually deserve to have fewer rights, and everyone tries to justify it by saying a bunch of crap.
One of my closest friends is a lesbian, so I know this stuff up-close and personal. All that I wish is that people would really learn about being gay, not just know the facts, if you know what I mean. If they could know what it's like to be gay, do you think they'd still use it as a synonym for stupid? I don't.
I wish that someday, for one day, everyone would have to switch places. Rich people would be poor, thin people would be fat, girls would be boys and vice versa, and everyone straight would be gay. I think that, if it were possible, everyone would trully understand each other, and the world would be a better place to inhabit.

Aanaleigh - I'm sorry That sounds bad. I've never gotten sunstroke, but I am usually the person who gets sunburned when everyone else is fine or tanning...*sigh* Max - It's sad that so many people are so close-minded. *sigh* I mean, I am a very accepting and open person, but sometimes I say stupid stuff and I get really embarassed and think people think I'm stupid or homophobic. (Like at homecoming, when two (straight) girls were making out in the middle of the dance floor - while they were grinding guys - clearly just to get attention. I was, of course, sitting outside with my friends, so someone comes and tells us this, and I said "That's gross." I was referring to the fact that they were doing it to get attention and while grinding guys, because in general I think the way most people behave at homecoming is gross, not because two girls were kissing! Of course as I said this I had to be looking at a bisexual girl who is sort-of a friend of mine and her girlfriend. But I didn't know it was her girlfriend at the time, I just thought it was a friend of hers because one of my other friends (who is close friends with both of them) told me one of her friends were coming. Than the next Monday I found out it was her girlfriend and I was *so* mortified. Still am. And I'm going to stop ranting now, really.) I have a happy rant...I've now had my cell phone for 3 1/2 years and it's started malfunctioning because it's so old. Sometimes my dad will send me texts and when I get them they'll be empty, even though he typed something in. Also it's a flip phone, because when I got my phone qwerty phones were just coming out and I was like "no-one has one of those, I'll get a flip phone" but of course then everyone got qwerty phones and I still had my flip phone. Also it's very hard to get on FF.net 'cause the screen's like an inch big. (I know, I know, I sound like such a spoiled brat, but it's not just me complaining about how outdated it is 'cause it's also stopped working well.) Anyway, the happy part is that finally, after my dad stalling for months and the people at the Sprint store being very unhelpful so we had to call teleservices, our new phones arrived!!!

AJ - Ooh, never gotten sunstroke, in fact I rarely burn, but that sounds awful! Rowena - That's...I'm not sure if I should comment first on the girls kissing or what you said (ouch, BTW)... People sometimes think I'm homophobic, too, even though I have two bi friends and a gay friend, so to them (the people who think I'm homophobic). Also, my favorite actor is gay (chris colfer!!!) so...yeah. I used to have a flip phone that belonged to my grandma. Literally. My GRANDMA had it before I did. And when it was flipped closed, it was almost an inch and a half thick. Then my next phone ALSO belonged to my grandma, and I couldn't text with it because if I tried to type, like, "Let's go on a shopping spree!" it would turn it into, "Lots gone in a shipping canary!" (not kidding) They both broke, though, and now I have an iPhone ;D

Okay, I hate double-posting 'cos it makes me feel poopy, but I am pissed right now. Everybody (that is, all but literally 10 people out of 450) at my school is under the impression that I am a waste of space, oxygen, and a life. They're all convinced that I'm either stupid or a nerd and that I'm either untalented or...actually, they all think I'm untalented. And you know why?? Because I haven't been in any of the school plays. AND YOU KNOW WHY?! Because my drama teacher won't let me in! I have a theory about this though: he won't let in anyone more talented than himself except in the bad chorus (there's the good chorus and the bad chorus in all our plays). It wouldn't look good for him if the students were better than the teacher. I probably sound like an arrogant braggart now, but if you check out the thread "Hobbies?" I posted a video of me singing and you can see what I mean. I'm gonna try to be more upbeat now. MY BIRTHDAY'S IN 2 DAYS!!!!!!!

I hate Canadian History. Sure, it's great if you like politics. But I don't. The only thing I've really learned in that class is that if the states wanted to invade Canada, it's very possible in this day and age. (But none of you Americans are a huge fan of the cold here. xD) Before 1800s it was all about the French tricking the Hurons into fighting for them. It's just not what I like. :/ I took the Ancient History last yeear. That class was fun. I especially loved the Greek unit. After that, I'm hugely disappointed in my class this year. I agree with my teacher. He needs to retire soon, he's failing at making classes interesting.

RANT:
So, I finally go out and by The Girl Who Was On Fire, right? Actually, WRONG. I checked both Borders and Barnes and Noble, but neither of them have a copy of the book. So I had to get it on my mom's Kindle.
I started reading, and now I'm just straight out annoyed. There are SO MANY MISTAKES in this book. For example, during the second "essay", at Location 285-89 in the Kindle edition, it says, "The same could be said of Katniss' relationships with everyone from the baker to the Peacemakers". Except, this is wrong, because they're not called Peacemakers, they're Peacekeepers, people, Peacekeepers.
Next mistake: Location 308-13 in the Kindle edition: "Peeta points out this cluelessness out to Haymitch after Katniss' first interview in The Hunger Games, but even hearing him say that she has no idea what kind of effect she can have on people". Except, this is not the case. Peeta says this just before their first day of training--page 91. If Peeta said it after their first interviews (which he did not, as Katniss shoved him in to a vase, as you can all surely recall), it would've been said around page 134/135.
That is as far as I've gotten so far. I'm sure that more ranting will come.
END RANT

Here is my rant for today:
My camp sucks. The counselors are all hypocrites. Today, one of them saw me getting my phone out, and he practically screamed, "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE ELECTRONICS ON THIS BUS!!! PUT THAT AWAY BEFORE I TAKE IT FROM YOU!!!" Meanwhile he's sitting there blasting his iPod and texting. -__- And another time, we went to get snowcones, and one counselor said, "No more than two snowcones! And if you aren't in line, don't get in line--we don't have time!" Immediately after that speech, he went up into the line and bought no less than seven snowcones.
Plus, the places we go to are boring. We were supposed to go to this awesome place with a huge, steep waterslide, but the counselors said, "Oh, no, you're not allowed to go there because it's dangerous." EXCEPT we go on that waterslide every year and there has not been a problem until now.
Finally, the counselors act like the older you get, the less important you are. My friend Stephanie hurt her leg really badly when she was twelve, and it happened at that camp. Like, there was a huge cut in her leg, she had to go to the hospital by the end of the day. The counselors were about to help her, but a little five year old started screaming because she stubbed her toe. The counselors ran over to help her, and they carried her around all day, but they told Stephanie she could bear through it. And that ended up putting Stephanie on antibiotics for three weeks.
So yeah, my camp freaking sucks.

Hannah - What is the Girl Who Was on Fire? (Yeah, I know, admin!fail moment)Max - I'm sorry Next week I'll be starting work as a counselor at a camp, and I'll probably be ranting about how bad are helpers are. (Seriously though. My first year, I had the youngest group, and they only helped the two cute little blonde girls. I had to help the other seven six-year-olds )

Rowena That's...not fun. Not fun at all. Here is my today rant: People act like they're so much better than everybody else. I went to the pool today with my camp (see rant above) and my friend Merri saw someone throw a ball. It went kinda far away from them, so she picked it up to throw it back to them. But before she could throw it, the guy who owned the ball yelled, "Hey! You're stealing our ball!" (By the way, the ball probably cost around 50 cents) Merri said, "No, I was just returning it." And the guy's girlfriend said, "How old are you? Like, twelve? I'm eighteen, so just shut up!" If I had been there, I would've replied, "Yes, we were twelve. Last year. And since you're eighteen, shouldn't you be the adult here?" (Ahahaha, BURN!) At the same pool, some dude tried to hit on me. I am proud that I am single, and I will not date until high school. But this dude was just like, "Hey! You!" And he freaking whistled. That alone made me want to punch his teeth out. But then he said, "Do you have a boyfriend?" So, I decided to practice for Broadway camp (only two weeks away!!!!) and said, "I live in Canada. And I'm just visiting my grandma." And he said, "I don't care. You wanna make out?" (EEEEWWWW!!!!!) So, I replied, "Listen, I would, but I won't date anybody until I can date Justin Beiber." (SSOO not true) Then he still wouldn't give up, so I did the one thing that never fails: I pretended to vomit. (I am extremely good at fake-vomiting) He made a disgusted face and walked away. Finally, this one I'm sure will infuriate us girls. I was standing in line at camp, and some soccer ball came out of nowhere and smacked me in the forehead. I sort of jumped back because, you know, it's human instinct. Then the kid behind me (who, by the way, is eight) and I had this conversation: HIM: Are you SCARED of the ball? ME: No, but I recoiled instinctively. HIM: You're totally SCARED of the ball!!! ME: Listen, it's human instinct. I'm sure you would have done the exact same thing. HIM: Nuh-UH! ME: No, I'm sure you would. HIM: No, because I'm not a GIRL!That just about earned him a (excuse my language) bitch-slap, even though he's eight. So, those are my rants for today.

So I found out who my group is. The youngest group. There's ten of them, although some of them won't be there some days, but I do have two sets of twins.

Rowena That sounds HORRIBLE! I feel bad for you! RANT: My mom officially 'tied the knot' with my now step-father, and she won't even acknowledge my dad existed. So my dad's furious and broke my iPhone, just because my 'mom bought it'. I bought it myself. So my stepdad is a really nice guy, but has two kids that are officially my step brothers. One is, like, 10, and he will call you a 'fag' for asking him to turn off the xBox or eat a carrot. The other is like 5 years older than I am, and refuses to move out. His real grandmother gave him 10,000 freaking dollars and rubs it in everyones faces. While my mom can barely afford a cracker, let alone the 12 month xBox live card the older step brother forced her to buy. He was in MY room, changing the channels on MY TV, and I told him to leave. He shoved me INTO the TV and called me gay. The TV costs 1,200 dollars, and he smashed my hand. HIS mother refuses to pay anything because I 'got in his way'. It turns out my only friends are you awesome people because those who were once were are devout christians and found out I support LGBT. Now I am an uncouth demon who needs to be cleansed. My life sucks.End rant.

Oh, wow. That's terrible. I can kind of relate, seeing as my parents are divorced, and neither will even mention the other. (MY dad made a fake email to email my mom to change how he's paying child support.) And so are ever girlfriend he's had is terrible, and her children are always worse. I got shoved down a flight of stairs by one of them because he didn't like me babysitting.
