One question: Does a crossover count as AU? ... Like, say, the Hunger Games cast goes to Camp Half-Blood because they're all demigods, or something.

Oh my gosh. Good question. I had not thought about crossovers counting at all...for the moment I'm going to say I think that counts as AU, but let me check with Kate and Carter before I change it in the rules for sure  |

Can I post something? I know that sounds silly, but I checked the CCNCCC rules, and it said that the event takes place between the 17th and 30th September, but I'm not sure if submissions are allowed before that date?

Yeah, submissions aren't allowed until the challenge opens. It will open on September 17th - I'll post an announcement like "CCCNCC is open! You can post fic now!" as early as I can in my time zone, and then on September 30th I'll say it's closed. Fic submitted before CCCNCC opens will not count.
