Hey guys!! It's time for Ducky to go totally random and off topic here!! You know what I've always wondered? What kind if money they use in Panem?! I mean do they use dollar bills and coins like us or some other form of payment? Ok you may now all go back on topic

I've always thought that they'd basically just use electronic transactions. Although I wonder about their currency... :/

Maybe the capitol would with wiring money or credit card type things but in the districts I don't think so. The districts seem to have gone back in time for the most part and in a cash or check only type of way. Ccash most likely

I'm also guessing cash is used for the poorer districts.
But I wonder where their currencies would stand in value against ours? Questions to ponder...

Probably a huge amount of inflation before the first rebeelion and after a huge amount of deflation so things would be back into the things of a couple of dollars for a grocery run for the week. Especially since the barter system in still in play and profitable.

I doubt bartering would be as prominent in the Capitol as it is in the various districts, since I can hardly see the people in the Capitol being able to be resourceful enough to make their own goods on a standard people are willing to trade for.

That is very true. I wouldn't be surprised if the Districts run off a different currency to what the Capitol uses either.

We need a discussion going on in here. So....I may be disappearing for a while. Senate elections for my college are coming up, and so is hunting season. SO I may be missing for a while.
