What was the last movie you saw? It can be something you saw on television, on DVD or at the movie theater. Share what you thought of it! (Although warn us if you want to spoil things, okay? :D)
-last film I saw at the movie theater was 'Sucker Punch'. Now I'm not one to rag on a movie for being like a video game but... seriously, half the movie was panty-shots and gratuitous CG backgrounds. My friends and I were screaming with laughter because of how bad we thought it was.
Alright, it wasn't 'terrible', but definitely not something I would usually pay money to see.

I watched Scott Pilgrim vs The World.
Love, love, love.
Like the movie you just said (Sucker Punch) it had a video game feel, but it kind of enhanced the whole movie for me.
Sure the plot was a little cliche, but I still thought it was great.
I loved his roommate, made me laugh so hard.
;D
Has anyone else seen it?

I have a few friends who are /crazy/ over Scott Pilgrim but I haven't seen it. Yet. DDD8
That's a shame about Sucker Punch, Vivid, because I wanted to see that. My beta was like, "A blonde girl who can't weigh more than 90 pounds soaking wet and who uses fantasy to escape the reality of being in a mental institution. They made a movie about /you/, Leah." XD

D: You should try to see it, I really reccomend it. I haven't seen Sucker Punch either, I was going to rent it but I might not bother now.

I watched "17 Again" last night because my dad thought we hadn't seen it yet (but we had). Oh well. I got to fangirl Matthew Perry and laugh at Zac Efron's awkward scenes. *giggle* I think the last move I saw before that was "Tangled" which I actually loved

Dude, I bought that movie just because Matthew Perry was in it. I spent all the scenes with Zac Efron going 'yeah-yeah, turn back into Matthew Perry!' I love Matthew Perry. -okay, so the other day I watched 'Taken' for the first time ever, and I loved it. Liam Neeson is officially my favorite actor ever. I mean, Schindler's List was amazing, Batman Begins was fantastic- and now Taken just blew me away with his acting prowess- and that's not even mentioning his role as Qui-Gon and his voice acting job in Fallout 3. -sigh- So wonderful. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend Taken for the faint of heart- it's about human trafficking, more specifically- sex slaves- and how Liam Neeson tears up Paris looking for his seventeen year old daughter to save her. And. it's. BRILLIANT. :3

Oh my gosh that sounds fantastic. Liam Neeson is a brilliant actor, for sure. He /was/ Schindler, pretty much. Played the part perfectly. But so many did in that movie...like that dude who played Poldek, and Ralph Fiennes, of course, to the point where when a survivor saw him all dressed up as Goeth she backed up, shaking, because he was so much like him. Liam Neeson did a voice in Fallout, though? That's so cool. He also made an excellent Voldemort, seriously. The HP movies were so brilliantly cast...minus Robert Pattinson because he's just gross. xD Matthew Perry is so much love. My sister met him once. I had a total spaz attack. Very jealous. Zac Efron...I still am on the fence if he can act.

Ooh. I've seen Taken because my dad made me watch it to make sure I wouldn't be so stupid when I travel alone...
The last movie I saw was The King's Speech, which was amazing. Colin Firth was amazing. Pretty much all the actors were, and basically half of them were from Harry Potter. ;D

Ralph Fiennes is a great Voldemort. Seriously love him so much. -but wow, I didn't know that he played Goeth so well. I knew he was acting magnificently ( Dad's a history nut like I am, but he knows more than I do- so when he said Goeth was a- for lack of a better word, a jerk-ass, I believed him.) but that's an accomplishment. Yep! Neeson plays your father who escapes the vault ( NOT EASY. AT ALL.) to set out and create an irradiated source of water for America. He dies saving you after you run off after him. :'C I was like "LIAM NEESON, NO!" So am I, including Vanessa Hudgens on that fence, but they're trying- I'll give them that. He's chosen some good movies to work with ( Me and Orsen Wells, Charlie St.Cloud- and come on, 17 Again he works with Matthew Perry. Points.) so he's steadily redeeming himself from the happy Disney character he made himself out to be. SHE MET MATTHEW PERRY?! OMFG DYING OF JEALOUSY. He's still single and I don't understand why. He's so cool! ( Rehab visits aside, but we all have down points in our lives.) Brayden actually doesn't want me to meet him out of fear I'll cry "Can I take you to dinner?!" I love Brayden, but if I was faced with Matthew Perry part of me would totally want to take him out. I've heard of that, but I haven't seen it yet. Maybe I should- I really like Colin Firth. And haha, whenever I see an actor who was in Harry Potter I'm like- "SNAPE! Why are you trying to rape Johnny Depp's Wife?" ~ Sweeney Todd. "HERMIONE! Since when did you do ballet?" ~ Ballet Shoes. "RON! What are you doing with that gun?!" ~ Wild Target. No but seriously, they're all great actors and I'm glad they took the roles in Harry Potter or else I probably wouldn't appreciate them half as much.

He's /so/ creepy. He was actually quite embarrassed about causing that reaction, of course. Goeth was a bastard of epic proportions who deserved that hanging. -nod- DDDD8 I know very little about Fallout...but the vault is like...where they keep everything, after the apocalypse? or am I off? I'll admit he did a good job in Hairspray. Surprisingly. Probably because for 3/4ths of the movie his character is incredibly shallow. It was the randomest thing ever. She went to go see Spiderman, and when she got up at the end of the movie he was just sitting there, in the very last row. Sadly, seems some women don't have good taste in guys the way we do. OMG THEY MADE A MOVIE OF BALLET SHOES WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS?! Who was she? Posy?

Okay, well after a nuclear war with 'Red China' (over the last oil rig in the entire world) America knew that they were going to be on the receiving end of China's nuclear bombs. So the 'Enclave' corporation made Vaults for the population to live in until the fights were over.
...except these vaults weren't created to save people. Only three or four worked the way they were supposed to. They all had 'experiments', such as a vault that's door wouldn't close, a vault that pumped out white noise to drive the inhabitant insane, a vault that required a yearly human sacrifice- and so on and so forth.
The vault Liam Neeson escapes from is designed to never open. But there's a secret escape through the Vault Overseer's office and that's how you and your daddy Liam Neeson get out. :3
-then amazingness ensues. xD I love Fallout.
THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR LIVING IN AUSTRALIA. FUCK MY LIFE.
I only know because of my friend Joe who does dancing dragged me along to buy it. It's apparently really good though, and you sound like you know about it- haha. (and yes, he's my gay friend.)
-movie I recently watched? Hot Fuzz. I love Simon Pegg. x)

Leah I'm sooo jealous of your sister! <3 Matthew Perry. Although if I ever ran into him in a movie theatre I would probably be too afraid to say hi (Or I would spazz out...) I saw the King's Speech recently, I really liked it. Friday night my mom and I rented "Just Go With It" with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston (yeah, we're cool ). It was suprisingly good...the kids in it were adorable and hysterical I'm about to go see "X-men First Class" because my friends like to drag me to see movies about pop culture things I've never seen and won't understand (such as The Last Airbender) so hopefully that isn't *too* bad...*sigh*

I had a five-hour flight from Kaui to LAX, and they were coincidentally showing Just Go With It. I didn't watch, but some people were laughing way too loudly, which kind of put me off... Well, and it was two in the morning.
So did you like X-Men: First Class?

I actually really liked X-Men: First Class. I thought it was good, and my friends who like X-Men thought it was really good too. (Now I want to watch the real movies so I can get the prequel-y stuff that happened ). Aanaleigh, how was Mr. Popper's Penguins?? I want to see that so badly! I saw the preview when I went to see X-Men and it looked so adorable! (I used to love that book when I was little.) I watched Get Smart for the second time two nights ago. I really like it
