Hello again to Starvation people. My moniker is 'VividlyVisceral', or Vivid for short. Feel free to be cute with nicknames, but Vivi and Viv' have been pre-approved.
To sum myself up, I'm a girl online. No, not a 'G.I.R.L' (Guy in Real Life, for those of you who aren't /b/ savvy) but an eighteen year old girl from Australia who spends most, if not all of her time online.
Since I like being funny, here are some 'Le Petite Choses' (phrase/idea stolen from T/D) to describe myself-
- although I'm eighteen, I've done little to nothing to celebrate my legal status as an adult.
- being inappropriate is something I do naturally. Please tell me if I'm making you uncomfortable, because I'll continue if you don't.
- cats. Just cats. I love them, and I want five of them. Maybe ten. Currently I have two.
- I am a recovering Japanophile. Yes, this meant that I was crazily obsessed with Japan and its culture. However I still enjoy anime/manga/J-pop, I'm just no longer so fanatic.
- since I no doubt will abuse this in the future, I have aboyfriend fiance, and I tend to bring him up a lot. Please oblige me in this because talking about him makes me happy. (And embarrasses him)
- forgive me if I talk endlessly of food. I'm a fat girl in a skinny girl's body. I eat loads, and I enjoy blathering on about it.
- while I don't believe in any mainstream religion, I do believe in reincarnation, spirits and 'auras'. I promise I won't get creepy voodoo on you- but I do like talking about it. Mainly with Tucker.
- also I'm fine with whatever you believe in, just as long as you don't believe in making me gulp it down too.
- supernatural romances are a favorite genre of mine, however I don't like vampires/werewolves. Currently, I'm into ghoul romances. What's a ghoul? Think of a human who looks like a zombie. Yeah.
- DYSTOPIAN SOCIETY FICTIONS MAKE ME HAPPY
- I'm a bit of a sadist. Don't act surprised when I say creepy/deranged things.
To elaborate on the last point;
I LOVE GORE.
It's why my pen-handle is VividlyVisceral. Visceral imagery; have you heard of it?
Writing blood and gore is something I can't begin to tell you how much I cherish. When I picture eyeballs dangling from their veins and fingernails tearing off their digits I squirm with pleasure. Blood pumping out of necks like taps, tributes screaming in agony as their bowels tangle out of their stomachs- it's why I got into the Hunger Games.
I solemnly promise I'm not some serial killer skulking about a fandom's forum- this is just my main interest when it comes to writing. If I ever manage to publish something, expect it to be of this nature.
