We found out a lot about Haymitch's Games in CF, as Katniss and Peeta watched the video and realized he had been in the last Quell. What is your opinion on Haymitch's Games? Any speculations?

First off, let me say that the arena? Breathtaking. I was practically licking the page because of how beautiful it was until I found out it was poisonous. SuCo outdid herself with that one.
-it was a little anti-climatic how Maysilee died. I was hoping for something else, like her protecting Haymitch or something a bit more... well, character building. While him cradling her was a lovely image, I was a bit bored with her way of death. It felt more like a badly placed piece of comedy to me.

Hmm - I like the idea of Haymitch/Maysille, personally, but I'd never thought about how she died before and it really could have been more character building.

The introduction of Maysilee also made me think that her sister might play a bit more of a part in the story, but aside from letting her daughter Madge give Katniss the medicine to give to Gale the woman did nothing.
So many wasted ideas. -shakes head-

I agree with Vivid, SuCo really outdid herself with that arena. I can't even imagine how much time she must have spent on that trying to come up with the perfect setting for Haymitch to fight in. I liked how Haymitch won, because in the end it was kinda like the Capitol won the games for him with the force field because if it wasn't there he most likely would have died.

I always enjoyed his Games more than the actual CF book. Too filler-y. Right after I read about Haymitch's Games (fantastic piece of work, actually) I kinda wondered what the 74th Games would be like if Haymitch died. With NO mentor... *schemes...*
