What happened to the Monthly Competition? Has it faded out or something? I know I haven't been hanging around here for a while, but...
Also, the August winner was never announced.

The prompts have been announced on the ff forum and on here, but I have noticed that there haven't been as many fics submitted lately...

I don't know what to say about the decrease in number of submissions - although I know I haven't been keeping up with submitting every month, I do find it very disappointing. My only guess is that people who had been checking only the FF.net forum decided to stop posting - I really don't know what happened. If we could ugre people to start writing for the monthly challenges again, that would be great. Perhaps Kate and I can work with whoever next month's judge is to make sure we get the word out that these are still going on.
In regards to the August competition, I don't know what to say. I submitted something for that month too, so I am just as disappointed that the winners haven't been announced yet. The judge said she would contact me via PM when she'd decided the winners so that I would be able to post them - unfortunately I haven't heard from her yet. I apologize.
