I'm trying, but then I decided that I hated my Finnick/Gloss fic, lost inspiration for the HG/HP crossover and everytime I sit down to write, I don't like what I put down...
So basically, all I have are excuses. XD My bad...

I'm working on my Katniss/Haymitch fic - but it'll probably be short, and more romantic than any sort of quality literature. But definitely non-canon - and not set in the same AU as To The Victor, The Spoils either. (If you haven't read that, I highly recommend it.)
I'm also thinking of writing a oneshot regarding either Prim after Katniss's death in the Games, or Glimmer after her victory...

I'm really glad that everyone has some ideas, but as the Events Director, I'm just letting y'all know that if we have very few fics I might end up removing some of the categories for the voting/awards for CCCNCC. 'Cause it would be a little ridiculous to have the same 3 non-canon pairing fics up for all the non-canon pairing awards, y'know? Just FYI and hopefully encouragement for everyone to write some fic!

Mariah - I actually hadn't thought about expanding it until you said that. *is a sad excuse for an events director* If we could get some more advertising I would totally expand it for at least 2 weeks, maybe more...I will have to think about that if it is still lacking fic by the end date. Thanks!

Yeah, advertising is vital if we want to get more people writing. Extending the deadline won't be enough unless we go out and spread the word. (Which is the mods' job. :3)

Yes, believe me, we've all been trying to get the word out as many ways as possible. Its not THAT easy to get people to check us out. Thats why we encourage the memeber to help as well because technically its not our 'job' we volunteer to act as facilitators for the members. So any offered help is a great help, we could make everyone a mod but then have you ever heard the saying 'too many chefs in the kitchen ruin the soup'?

I think a lot of FFN people don't like the ProBoards format (especially if they regularly use the FFN forums), so that's hugely problematic. :/ Affiliations might help, but I really have no experience in this area of advertising. D:
