Hi!

Um...I'm not really all that interesting XD

I'm McKala, I'm 13, I turn 14 in October. I am in the 10th grade and go to an early college high school in North Carolina. I'm in my high school glee club, I was home-schooled for 8th and 9th grade (personal reasons), and I skipped 7th.

I live in the middle of nowhere, and I can't wait to get as far away as possible. I am currently teaching myself Russian- starting with the Cyrillic alphabet, and I'm learning American Sign Language.

After I graduate high school in 4 years (early college program takes 5 years to complete), I plan to go to Princeton University, study psychology, political science, and then criminology, then get a job with the FBI's BAU (or BSU, either name goes.)

Uh...I've read all three book in the THG trilogy 17 times. I hate Katniss Everdeen. It is really hard to write with her in fanfiction, because I keep wanting to kill her off.

Erm, I have strong opinions about many things, including politics and the government, but I don't talk about it often unless someone else starts it.

As far as music goes, I listen to a plethora of foreign music. If anybody else does I can give suggestions, LOL.

I feel like I'm ranting so lastly, eventually, I plan on living in Russia. There's an FBI branch in Moscow

Welcome McKala! I'm Rowena, one of the admins It's so cool that you are teaching yourself Russian! They teach Russian at my school and one of my friends used to take it (she dropped it this year) but it seemse very difficult. Of course the Russian teacher at my school also isn't very good, so...

The only foreign music I listen to is Superbus, which is a French band...I don't know if you've herad of them?

Just out of curiousity -- why do you hate Katniss? (I'm indifferent to her, personally, but I love to hear other people's opinions about characters, so fire away.)

I found her whiny in Mockingjay. I mean, I KNOW that she's 17 and had all this crap happen to her, but still. She isn't the only person in the world. The only character I hate more than Katniss is Prim. I find both of the Everdeen sisters unrealistic :/

I haven't heard of Superbus- I shall YouTube them now Ha, foreign music is my best friend. I love French music, but recently, I've found this Spanish girl trio I like. And Yulia Savicheva from Russia. I love her.

The only language they teach my my school is Spanish. I have to take it next year...yay! I'm trying to join the freshman class's Hispanic Gang (that's not racist comment, I'm actually friends with all of them, and the name is an ongoing joke XD)

I also don't like Katniss lately. She whines so much. Prim would work if she wasn't supposed to be so old. Her behavior in HG is just too...immature.

ALso, I love having people with strong opinions about ANYTHING around here. I hope to see you in the WAR threads ;D
