CCCNCC would be a great time to write slash pairing as one of your non-canon pairings...any favorite slash pairings you'd like to write? (As an incentive, Carter and I will each be giving 1 Karma to anyone who writes slash for this challenge  |

We'll most likely be adding a few (thousand) more karma. From both of us.
We aren't crazy, but slash in the HG fandom is seldom seen, and when it is, quality is shotty.
Plus, Slash is one of the better types of categories. In our humble opinion.

I already started writing a slash story for the competition.  Whether I'll finish it or not remains to be seen... But I have a few good (I think) ideas for it, so I probably will. |

You two have started this already haven't you? You know if I see a really good FInnick/Peeta slash that Imakes me like them almost as much as I like Gale/Johanna I'll hand out a hundred karma points.

I will be adding karma depending on how awesome the pairing is...so bring out your craziest ideas! Taywen - what pairing is it, if you don't mind me asking? *nosy* Finnick/Peeta and Gale/Peeta are both great ideas...Kate and Carter have already heard my crazy ideas: I'm going to do Mr. Everdeen/Mr. Hawthorne and probably one-sided Madge/Katniss  |

Finnick/Peeta sounds good to me. Rowena - Finnick/Gloss. I have a thing for Careers, I guess...  It's safe to say that Mr. Everdeen/Mr. Hawthorne has never occurred to me. But now I'm intrigued... |

Yeah - I'll spare you the awful quasi-fic I came up with to illustrate my frustraiton that neither of them of them have first names in the books -.- I will be coming up with some, because "I'm sorry, but you know we have to keep it a secret, Mr. Everdeen," Mr. Hawthorne whispered, peppering kisses down his neck just doesn't do it for me.

I think the addition of the kissing upped the awkward meter  I wrote another little snippet for Kate and Carter that ended with them being crushed by whatever killed them in that mine accident.  I really wanted to have Gale's dad's first name be "Shaft" but I think that would be misinterpreted  |

It definitely did. Intimacy and formal titles don't exactly go together, I think. Awww. But at least they were together when it happened... I can see where you're coming from... on both points. Shaft seems like a good name, but I agree that it would mostly likely be misinterpreted. Sad. D: |
