Okay, here's the place to post random philosophical thoughts you may have (or poetic, or...just anything deep you come up with, 'kay? )
I think that humans, as a species in general, are very confused. We seem unable to realize that if you wear Abercrombie and Fitch, it doesn't make you better than someone who wears YMCA t-shirts, and that being taller than someone doesn't make you superior to them.
In some way, we all strive to be immortal in some way. For example, many people can name someone from the twentieth century ACE, but can anybody name someone from the eighth century BCE? No. And so even if you were the greatest artist, poet, or inventor of the eighth century BCE, no one from the twenty-first century ACE remembers your name. And if no one remembers you, did you ever trully exist?
Finally, I think that writers, somehow, are the least confused humans. I believe that we were born with something inside of ourselves that makes us more feeling and understanding. Our character's experiences are our own. We've been made fun of, lived a life of poverty, been ridiculously wealthy, killed, and been killed. Don't you think someone who's died has more depth than someone who simply is popular?
Okay, so I think you get the point! Just be philosophical, poetic, or deep in any other way, and post it here! Make us all deeper!

I agree with Max. Humans are very confused.
I mean... we are so full of ourselves. We're the only species that really wants. And really, we use other species to give us our wants. I mean... someone wanted a friend, so they made a dog their pet. Someone wanted ivory, so what do they do? They hunt elephants. Someone wants to be pretty, and thinks that a leopard's coat is pretty, so they skin the leapord. I could go on but I think that you guys get the point.

Thats not completely true. We aren't the only ones who want. We just of different 'wants'
I mean, a bird wants to build a more attractive nest, they takey take anything they find from sticks to mud and even cloth or shiny things from our yards. A beetles wants a place to lay its young, it will take dead carcasses and bury it to lay its eggs in. An alligator wants to eat so it kills a baby animal getting a drink. The world is full of wants, humans have just expanded on what we want.

True... I guess I should have said we have selfish wants. And the alligator one is a need. I'm talking about something that we don't need to survive
