Okay, so I think we all know that this thread was inevitable. What are YOUR hobbies (besides reading--we figured that out )? Mine are very musical: acting, piano, and singing! I've been in choirs since the third grade, and I am currently in an auditioned choir. I'm also auditioning for a play in a few weeks (we're doing Seussical). In case anyone cares to listen, here's a video I made of myself singing the song I'm auditioning with. My channel, where I have two more vids of me singing ("Angel of Music" and "The Hanging Tree") is here: www.youtube.com/user/operaghost12SR?feature=mhee#p/u/1/WMQMWwN7x1AI'd really appreciate some comments! Oh, yeah, here's a vid my friend and I made for THG (I played Rue): Please watch the vids--I worked really hard on them!

Wow, Max, you're really good. And you're so pretty! My hobbies, other then reading, is a very tiny list. It consists of Sims. That's pretty much it. I used to play soccer, and be in a drama club, but they got closed. And I used to do a lot that had to do with re-enactments, but they're all done for this year, and I can't return next year.

Aw, thank you! Try telling that to my drama teacher. Or this girl named Hannah. Or...yeah, just come to my school and say that. I did soccer for a year, but didn't like it much I don't like sports. As for drama club...I can't even get into that because of my stupid drama teacher. And I've always wanted to try doing re-enactments, but there are no groups in my area. It sucks that you can't go back next year... Anyway, Sims is fun! ;D I can't play it 'cos my laptop doesn't have a CD drive.

Ummm... Fanfiction is my hobby.Well, fanfiction/writing. And it's only one of them. The other is theatre - you name it, I'm there especially if it's depressing. I'm so jealous you're doing Seussical, Max! I love that show The middle school at my school did it this year, and I was so jealous because I actually suggested it to the person who used to direct the shows. And my mom was like "No way would they do that - the costumes are way too intense." And then they did. To be fair the costumes weren't super-amazing, but still. (Coincidentally she was also wrong about my out-of-school theatre company doing Cats, which I always wanted them to do when I was little and it was my favorite show ) So yeah. Theatre/singing, because I usually do musicals. I've been taking voice lessons since I was in third grade. Unfortunately my school choral director picks favorites and cast everyone in Tevye's family in Fiddler on the Roof as either a blonde or a red-head...*mutters* so I never get parts. But oh well I'm assistant directing the student run show next year! Also, my new phone has The Sims 3 on it. I'm very excited. Now I just have to convince my dad to let my buy it...

OMG, I freaking LOVE Fiddler!!!! Rowena, I wish I knew you in real life, 'cos we have the same hobbies!
I'm going to get a voice teacher in the fall. My parents said I had to learn piano before I could take voice so I could learn the notes. I was like, "Okay, I learned the notes in third grade and taught myself piano in fourth." -_- But whatever. I'm just flattered that the teacher accepted me. She only teaches 15+ year olds but accepted me when I was 12 ;D

That's cool I'm hopefully going to be starting piano now since we have some extra money...with my voice teacher's husband A lot of my friends have voice teachers who will only teach a certain age and up, but my voice teacher doesn't have that restriction. She's connected to my school, though, so that would make it more difficult.

My piano teacher is my dad. ;D See, my grandma was a piano teacher, so she taught my dad, and he's teaching me. Amazingly, my grandpa was a choir director.
Unfortunately, vocal talent (as my dad puts it) skips a generation. So my grandpa was great, my dad (as he puts it) is...not the best, and I (not to brag) am great.
Anyway, my future voice teacher isn't connected to my school, and my mom had to ask my choir director about good teachers, so she was hard to find.

Oh, I camp and hike and stuff, I just don't list it as a hobby I wish I knew how to do metal art, it sounds really cool, and the most i can carve out of wood is a stick to make s'mores on XD Ironically, AJ, Rowena, and I would be considered the oddballs at my school. KATE, you'd actually be one of the most popular people there!

Fanfiction is a huge hobby of mine, but I'm like Kate.
I enjoy hiking, hanging out in the woods, adventuring, wood carving, and basically anything that has to do with the woods or the outdoors. Of course my biggest hobby is reading and writing.

I was still an oddball at my school. The 'popular' people in my school were either stuco or drama/music students.
Metal art is pretty fun to do I'm going to have to look for some of my work, one was a huge buffalo in an arrow head, it was really cool looking. Or I make pipe people by welding pipes into stick figures,
Woo! Another outdoorist! I am NOT alone.

I can't believe how talented you all are! xD I'm not really artistic, and everything outdoors related makes me sneeze. I'm best with computers, digital art and such. Web design is fun, too. My friend got me into airsoft, but she just completely rules over me.
I'm addicted to FanFiction. Don't tell anyone, it's sort of a secret XD

Bad things happen when I try to be outdoorsy. That's why I've never tried it Kate and I are all polar-oppositey and such that way. You should hear some of our earliest conversations. Me: you hunt? Like, animals? Her: You're a vegetarian? What?
