Sorry if this answer was somewhere else--I couldn't find it.
Is there a way to "quote" things on here, like we did on the "old" Starvation?

It isn't anywhere else - I didn't put it in the coding thread and should probably go edit that. The code for simple coding is [*quote]text[/quote], like But if you want to quote with a link to the original post, you can click the "quote" button in the upper right corner of a person's post and it will quote their whole post, like this. Sorry if this answer was somewhere else--I couldn't find it. Is there a way to "quote" things on here, like we did on the "old" Starvation? *is a fail with this sort of thing* You can, of course, delete part of what they typed if you don't want to quote the whole thing. This is something I've been wondering about for a while:
The stars above our pics? What do they mean and how do you advance them? Like I'm in "First Reaping", then there's "Tribute," "Career," etc. Does it have something to do with Karma?

The stars represent the group you're in like first reaping and that. Rowena and I have the long set because we are admin. To get more it has to do with your posts. The more you post the higher your rank

*shameless plug* Suggestions about better rankings - that's the lable such as "1st Reaping" that corresponds to your post count - are totally welcome. *end shameless plug* Max, that's called a blinkie. It's in the place where Kate's custom title would be - for example my custom title right now is "Master of Quarter Quell Gamemaking." She has it because she put it there  Only admins can add custom titles/blinkies to people's accounts. |

How do I add an avatar, what is "karma" on my profile, and why does it say "First reaping"? D:::

This thread should show you how to add an avatar, but if you have any other questions about it, please ask. Karma is just a fun thing on ProBoards - you can exalt someone to give them karma, but you can only do it once per day. Admins can also give someone more than 1 karma at a time if they decide to do so. It's just something for if you really like someone's fic, or a comment they made, stuff like that First Reaping is your ranking at the moment. If you post more, your ranking goes up. For example when you reach 100 posts your ranking goes up to Tribute.
